My creative focus is about hacking the wisdom of dynamic change in people, nature and culture using traditional methods of painting, film and photography.

For 33 years Berlin has been my muse, and the urban landscape my evolving canvas. Accelerated change is the norm, and the boundaries of cultural context are thrown into a great big wild melting pot of diverse and very free styles of expression. I use this freedom to create visual fusions based on my mixed roots and artcentric lifestyle.

Paint & Pigments

The main medium I use to paint is to mix my own colour with pigments and acrylic or tempera. In the 1980’s I began with urban cityscapes and landscapes, and from 2015 I ventured into abstract artworks on large scale canvases. Mixed media includes materials relevant to place and time.

Design Project Concept

Project design over the last 2 decades uses social sculpture, designed by Joseph Beuys, to find new approaches through art to transform society and the world.

Photo & Pixels

Recent forays into photo collage with making large scale artworks. My main themes are water, reflection and dynamic urban cityscapes, with focus on places of change, like building sites in landscapes. Film, installations and documentary feature in conceptual artworks and social sculpture projects.
